Things that I wish existed in fandom:

1. A way to know if the people who don't leave kudos enjoyed your fic (seriously, did you like it, hate it, something in between?)

2. A comprehensive list of fandom terms (what the heck is the difference between a fest and a bang?)

3. A high res 1920x1080 McShep desktop wallpaper

4. A random fic generator that recs a fic to you based on you ticking boxes with what you're in the mood for

5. A beta reader sign up page

6. A Stargate Atlantis specific forum or hangout place

Ooh. Now I want #4. The closest thing I have right now is doing a lot of filtering on AO3? I search for a tag I'm in the mood for and then start clicking ticky boxes to exclude anything I don't want. I read this post last year and use a lot of the search tips on it to get a list of fic to browse through.

AO3's filtering is great, but sometimes I wish it would just choose me a fic rather than give me a list. There are so many fics, and that's a great thing, but even filtered down I get a list a mile long.

the mcshep everyday tumblr does recs. I would say it's also the most active SGA community right now if you aren't into the Discord concept.

we had interest in the mcsheppers comm going for a while, but then we lost the tipping point again. the fandom is so small.

I will make you a mcshep hi-rez wallpaper and post it on mcsheppers. :) any specific requests for it? I can try to accommodate.
