Fanwork Recs - Snowflake Challenge #8
This challenge is both a dream (in that I have lots of recs) and a nightmare (in that I have...lots of recs). So what I'm going to do is rec a maximum of one fic per writer to keep it from becoming an endless list. This list isn't in any particular order and it is absolutely not exhaustive (my bookmarks on AO3 runs to 9 pages so far). If I was to write the list again tomorrow it would have seven completely different fics. Most of these are McShep cause that's my jam.

Why I Rec This: Okay, so...respoftw is well known for Rodney Whump, and that's one of my favourite things in the world, but if pressed (really hard) to pick a favourite of her fics I always come back to this one. Do not, under any circumstances, let anything happen to McKay. It's not a stretch to see this being canon. It's a bunch of short stories, shared in hushed whispers amongst the Atlantis personnel, of times that rule has been broken and how John reponds to that. Such a good read.

Snape was one of the first characters I got into fandom wise, and until I read this I had a hard time shipping him with anyone after the great Sirius-is-an-asshole reveal, but this brought me back into a Snape ship fast and hard.
